“The Space Industry’s Impact on the California Economy”
California’s space industry is a powerful contributor to the state’s economy—as large as or larger than other prominent California industries such as agriculture and motion picture/entertainment. While California’s unique space ecosystem of manufacturers, supply base, research & development and customers provides strong competitive advantage for industry participants doing business in the state, other states and global competitors are aggressively challenging that advantage.
Please join us in Los Angeles on Friday, October 19, 2012, 7:30 am – 9:00 am, when Randy Garber, Partner with A.T. Kearney, will present research results on the space industry’s economic impact in California and how California stacks up relative to other states. He will also explore implications and actions for California government and industry leaders.
The meeting is free, but RSVP’s in advance to Ivan Rosenberg are required to attend.
The Los Angeles chapter of The Aerospace & Defense Forum was founded by Frontier Associates and the 62 Mile Club, and is sponsored by Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Mitchell, Moss Adams, BOBsearch and The College of the Extended University at Cal Poly Pomona.
