“Driving Premium Value in Aerospace & Defense M&A: An Overview and Case Studies”
Los Angeles Chapter meeting on November 15
NOTE: Building security policy. All attendees must register no less than 24 hours in advance of the meeting (by 7am November 14) or they will not be allowed entrance to the building.
The mergers & acquisitions market in aerospace & defense has been red hot. Volume has been high across the landscape, from well publicized public company mega mergers to privately held middle-market businesses. Valuations in aerospace & defense are also at record highs, with double-digit transaction multiples being the norm rather than the exception for quality assets.
However, all of the companies coming to market in aerospace & defense are not created equal. What distinguishes premium assets?
Please join us in Century City on Friday, November 15, 7:30–9:00am (breakfast and networking at 7:00am), when Francis Tran, Managing Director, Lincoln International, will present a topical overview, while hearing from special guest David Schmidt, former CEO of Hartzell Aerospace and Hydra-Electric
Selected topics will include:
• Preparing your company for a premium sale
• What attributes drive the highest levels of value and competitive tension?
• What are strategic buyers and investors seeking in today’s market?
• Case study Q&A with David Schmidt: Hartzell Aerospace and Hydra-Electric.
The meeting is free for members and $30 for non-members ($40 after November 8). Guests may attend two chapter meetings for free. For more information and to register to attend the meeting go to https://adflanov19.eventbrite.com.
The LA chapter of The Aerospace & Defense Forum is hosted by Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Mitchell and sponsored by RSM, California Bank & Trust, Chubb, Bolton & Company Insurance Brokers, and Stanton Chase.
