“CERI: Solving Critical Human-Technology Problems”
Arizona Chapter July 8 meeting (Phoenix)
The Cognitive Engineering Research Institute (CERI) is an independent, not-for-profit, research institute founded by partners from private industry, academia, and government laboratories. Through CERI, these sectors come together to solve critical problems of socio-technical systems by applying human-centered design, conducting problem-oriented research, and facilitating multidisciplinary collaboration among scientists, practitioners, and users. CERI forms pathways from scientific results in the laboratory to the implementation of results into the systems of national importance.
Please join us in Phoenix on Tuesday, July 8, 2014, 7:30am – 9:00am MST, when Steven Shope, President, Sandia Research Corporation will discuss CERI and the types of research conducted there using specific project examples.
The meeting is free for A&D Forum members and $40 for non-members ($30 Early Bird until July 1). For more information and to register to attend the meeting, go to http://adfazjul14.eventbrite.com.
