“Capabilities, Limitations, and Design for Additive Manufacturing”
Arizona Chapter Decenber 9 meeting
Advances in metal additive manufacturing enable engineers to design and construct parts that are free from traditional manufacturing constraints.
Please join us in Phoenix on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, (networking at 7:00am, meeting 7:30–9:00am), when Joe Manzo, Executive Officer/Founder of Titan Industries will give an overview of available additive manufacturing technologies while discussing the unique capabilities, process limitations and novel design opportunities. The type of applications that benefit the most from these processes will be discussed, along with a simple design example to demonstrate the process. The presentation will conclude with a case study comparing the cost, schedule, and performance of an aerospace component manufactured by traditional and additive methods.
The meeting is free for A&D Forum members and $40 for non-members ($30 Early Bird until December 2). For more information and to register to attend the meeting, go to http://adfazdec14.eventbrite.com.
