Arizona Chapter September 15 meeting
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is a non-profit independent institution offering more than 70 baccalaureate, master’s and Ph.D. degree programs in its colleges of Arts & Sciences, Aviation, Business, Engineering, and Security & Intelligence. Embry-Riddle is the world’s largest, fully accredited university specializing in aviation and aerospace.
The university is a major research center, seeking solutions to real-world problems in partnership with the aerospace industry, other universities and government agencies.
Please join us in Prescott, AZ on Tuesday, September 15, 2015, (networking at 9:00am, meeting and tour 9:30–11:00am), for presentations on and a tour of Embry-Riddle’s Prescott campus. The ERAU Chancellor, Dr. Ayers, will provide welcoming remarks, followed by presentations by one or more of the ERAU staff, including Dean Ron Madler, Dean of Engineering. The presentations will provide a perspective of researched technologies and fields of aerospace interest.
The meeting will be followed by a brief walking tour of ERAU’s engineering facilities and their unique capabilities. In particular, the College of Security and Intelligence and College of Aviation have some aspects that will be of interest to the Aerospace and Defense community.
