Dallas-Ft. Worth Chapter February 9 meeting
A data breach is the intentional or unintentional release of secure or private/confidential information to an untrusted environment. Incidents range from concerted attack by black hats associated with organized crime, political activist, or national governments to careless disposal of used computer equipment or data storage media.
Please join us in Arlington, TX on Thur, Feb 9, (networking at 7:00am, meeting 7:30-9:00am) when Tom Allen, CEO of Opango, will describe examples of situations where data breaches occurred, the consequences, and what the company could have done to prevent the problem. Tom will also discuss how to meet the new FAR requirements for a secure system that must be met by December 31, 2017.
