“Core Components of an Effective Security Program”
Los Angeles Chapter meeting on November 16
NOTE: New building security policy. All attendees must register no less than 24 hours in advance of the meeting or they will not be allowed entrance to the building.
Building an effective IT security program can be overwhelming. Many standards and requirements exist. Sometimes, the choices can come down to choosing between complying with requirements rather than implementing solid security controls.
Join us at Century City on Friday, November 16, 7:30–9:00am, when John Stambelos (Principal of Stambelos Consulting, LLC) and Asher Dahan (CEO of Block Ransomware) will take you through the process of creating the core components for an effective information security program. They’ll touch on risk assessment, ransomware, vulnerability management, physical security, asset management, business continuity and incident response, among other topics.
When you leave this session, you’ll be able to determine the key parts of a security program that help your company stay secure.
The meeting is free for members & $30 for non-members ($40 after November 9). For more information and to register to attend the meeting go to http://adflanov18.eventbrite.com.
