“The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly of Lean Implementation”
OC Chapter meeting December 5, 2013
While “going lean” can garner amazing benefits, it’s not an easy row to hoe. One common mistake is regarding the transition to lean from solely a process perspective.
Please join us on Thursday, December 5, 7:30am – 9:00am PST, when Douglas Greene, President of Hixson Metal Finishing, will focus on the realities of going lean. Drawing parallels between the Eastwood flick itself and Lean Manufacturing in general, Douglas will highlight the motivational challenges of going lean, assigning objective values to traditionally subjective obstacles such as employee fear and satisfaction and providing a mathematical formula to test lean readiness.
