Panelists
As President of BOB Search, Ryan Boyle oversees operations and executive search management, focused on delivering top candidates to a deep customer base within the Aerospace & Defense Industries. Mr. Boyle joined BOB Search in 2012 as Vice President and has worked within and managed all aspects of the company, from sourcing to recruitment to account management. Following the promotion to President in 2019, Mr. Boyle has now absorbed ownership for the function of the entire business. BOB Search provides executive search and talent management services supporting Public/Privately held, Private Equity backed, and family/entrepreneur-owned businesses based nationally and internationally within the commercial aerospace, defense, new space and industrial markets. Mr. Boyle started his career at KPMG as an Audit Associate, moving into several financial leadership roles, from Financial Analyst and eventually to Director of Finance for a private equity owned company. Within these various accounting and finance roles, he focused on financial management, FP&A, audit, and M&A due diligence. Mr. Boyle received a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business from the University of San Diego and is currently a member of the Aerospace Industries Association. Paul Weisbrich is a Managing Director in the investment Banking Group at D.A. Davidson where he is a part of the firm's Aerospace, Defense & Diversified Industrials team. He possesses over three decades of investment banking and corporate finance experience on behalf of middle market and public companies, with a particular emphasis on cross-border transactions. Mr. Weisbrich has advised more than 350 companies and led the closing of over $6 billion in transactions spanning five continents. Earlier in his career, he worked in Bank of America and Robertson Stephens Investment Banking Groups. Mr. Weisbrich has served on the board of several middle-market companies as well as LMU's National Alumni Board. Mr. Weisbrich is a frequent lecturer on investment banking topics in North America, a long-term member of The Association for Corporate Growth and is on the Executive Committee for the Aerospace & Defense Forum. Mr. Weisbrich is an active adjunct professor on M&A topics at USC's Marshall School of Business Executive MBA program. He holds a B.A. in Business from Loyola Marymount University and an MBA from the University of Southern California. Paul Teske is Co-Founder and Partner of ATL Partners and currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Valence Surface Technologies. Prior to the formation of ATL Partners, Mr. Teske was a Vice President at MidOcean, focusing on investments in the Industrials sector. Previously, Mr. Teske was a member of the Industrials & Transportation group at Deutsche Bank Securities and served as a member of the Board of Directors of Sky Aviation Leasing US LLC, Sky Aviation Leasing US GP LLC, Pilot Air Freight Holdings LLC, Rock-It Cargo, and as a Board Observer of Noranco, Inc. Mr. Teske also serves on the Board of Directors of Futures and Options, a non-profit organization focused on empowering New York City's underserved youth to explore careers through career development, mentorship and paid internships. Mr. Teske received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, double majoring in Economics and Political Science As founder, CEO, and President of Novaria Group, Brian Perkins has built a growing enterprise focused on Aerospace Tier 2 manufacturing of multiple inter-related business units in the aerospace engineered component sector. Since founding Novaria in 2011, Mr. Perkins has led the Company through the completion of over 16 strategic transactions, all of which have been privately held, family-owned or entrepreneur-owned businesses. In 2018, he led a unique asset carve-out in a strategic transaction with Boeing Distribution Services Inc. (NYSE: BA). While CEO, he has performed in a variety of operational roles within Novaria during its stages of scaling, as well as leading the build-out of proprietary engineered products and customer partnerships. In 2019, KKR (Kohlberg Kravis & Roberts), one of the world's largest private equity firms, entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Novaria for an undisclosed amount. Mr. Perkins continues in his role as CEO and President, furthering Novaria's buy-and build strategy as the aerospace platform of KKR Industrials. Today, Novaria has over 1,000 employees and supplies critical components and services to over 500 unique aerospace customers. Prior to founding Novaria, he spent 10 years with Parker Hannifin Corporation (NYSE: PH). His operational and commercial roles included program and operations management, where he executed major contractual wins with Aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 customers, the development of advanced aerospace technologies, and the installation of infrastructure to enhance profitability across multiple P&Ls. Mr. Perkins currently serves on the board of Novaria Group and is a member of Young Presidents' Organization (YPO). Mr. Perkins has over 18 years of aerospace manufacturing leadership experience Mr. Perkins holds an MBA with an emphasis in finance, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Journalism, from Texas Christian University. Tracy Glende is CEO at Valence Surface Technologies, the largest independent surface treatment (metal & composites) company, serving the aviation, defense, and space industries. Recently, Mr. Glende was successful in leading Valence in the acquisition to Private Equity firm ATL Partners. Mr. Glende has over 25 years of experience within the aerospace, energy, and industrial markets, including special processing experience. He began his career with Honeywell Process Solutions, progressing into roles as GM, VP Marketing, and VP Six Sigma. He then served as VP Customer Service for Honeywell Aerospace spending a total of 15 years at Honeywell. Mr. Glende has held executive leadership roles with AST, an entrepreneurial start up, Gerdau Ameristeel, Bodycote, and Veritas Steel before being recruited to his current the CEO position at Valence. Mr. Glende holds a BSEE from Lamar University and an MBA from Arizona State University. Christopher Celtruda is a long tenured, senior executive with extensive public and private company operating leadership experience in the Aerospace and Defense market. He recently served as the CEO for the private equity backed Kellstrom Defense Holdings and orchestrated the sale of the business in QI of 2020. He recently finished a support role in the merger of the asset into AeroPrecision (All Clear) as part of the sale to Odyssey Investment Partners. He has returned to a leadership role at Destiny Equity Partners, an independent advisory firm that he established in 2012. The firm provides advisory services for M&A, strategic investment, business transformation and operation leadership to a number of public and private equity investment firms. Mr. Celtruda has held a number of public and private executive leadership roles, including serving as President and Corporate Officer for the $1.2 Billion Gardner Denver (NYSE:GDI) Industrial Products business unit, the Group Executive and Corporate Officer who led the formation of the global Aerospace & Defense division of CIRCOR International (NYSE:CIR) and various leadership roles at the former AlliedSignal, Honeywell Aerospace and General Dynamics Corporation He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maine and an M.B.A. from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, with studies in International Management at École Superiere de Commerce in Toulouse, France |
